Kirby Super Star and Super Punch-Out are two of this month's eight games.

Club Nintendo is offering up eight games as rewards this month: Mario Bros., Kirby Super Star, Super Punch-Out, NES Play-Action Football, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Touch Solitaire, and Art Style: PiCTOBiTS.

Mario Bros. for the Wii U Virtual Console is a game featuring the Mario brothers before they were super. Back then, they mainly jumped on stuff on a single screen. It wasn't until Super Mario Bros. that they would travel to the right. You can redeem this game for 200 coins.

Kirby Super Star is actually not one, single platforming adventure but instead, an assortment of different Kirby experiences. Originally released on the Super Nintendo, you can get a copy of it for the Wii U Virtual Console for 200 coins.

Super Punch-Out!!! is the SNES Punch-Out game that offered far more appealing visuals than its NES predecessor. You can get this game for 250 coins through the Wii Virtual Console on the Wii Shop Channel. After redeeming it, you can upgrade this copy to a Wii U version on the eShop for a $1.50.

NES Play-Action Football may not be Madden but it is "retro", so that must be good for something. It is 200 coins for the Wii or Wii Mode on the Wii U.

Super Mario Bros. on the 3DS virtual console is the NES classic we all know and love. If you already don't own it in a million different ways you can get a copy for 200 coins.

The Legend of Zelda may not be quite as good as subsequent Zelda adventures, but it is still a fantastic game and the basis for most adventure games that followed. If you have never played it, you can get a copy for 200 coins.

Touch Solitaire is a DSiWare version of solitaire, not much else to say. It is 150 coins and only redeemable on the 3DS eShop. Sorry to those poor souls who still have to use the DSi Shop.

Finally Art Style: PiCTOBiTS is a DSiWare puzzle game featuring many Nintendo, 8-bit themed puzzles. This goes for 200 coins and is redeemable on the 3DS eShop.

If you want these games act fast; they will be replaced on October 12 with, presumably, eight new games.

Hm, might use this opportunity to try PiCTOBiTS.

I really liked PICTOBiTS. The music was great, and the gameplay was interesting enough to keep me engaged. Definitely worth trying if you are only playing in Club Nintendo coins.

I'm picking up Kirby Super Star and Super Punch-Out!! this month.  Brings me up to 19 free games through Club Nintendo. People love to complain, and I wish there were better physical rewards available too... but 19 free games is a pretty sweet haul even if some of them aren't exactly top notch.  (Rec-Rec, I'm looking at you.)

The good news is that these rewards will be up until after Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be out, so i'll most certainly be able to get enough spare coinage to pick up Kirby Super Star, which is yet another SNES game that is one of my favorites.

Heck, I got a NWR forum account just so I could talk about Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and compare it to Kirby Super Star  during the RetroActive on the former!

Just give me Majora's Mask because the OOT 3DS remake ruined any chance of me paying for the VC version.

Just out of curiosity, how many of those 19 games were something you already owned in another form?
