Get to all your favorite shows faster and easier.

A new update has been released for the built-in Wii U application Nintendo TVii that brings multiple new features to the app.

Now with a dynamic home screen, you can switch to any program that is on by simply tapping the icon of the show, as opposed to changing the channel manually. There is also more coverage of sports, including baseball, which allows users to interact with each other by predicting plays. More shows are now being supported in TV Tag, a total of 70 channels use it. Search functionality has been improved along with faster load times.

Sounds like a step in the right direction.

Does it come with a delete option now?

I was ready to crack some wise, but baseball has me intrigued.

This still doesn't make this of any use to me.

Sadly, I'm with pokepal148 on this one. Tried to get it to work correctly, but there is no setting to match our satellite provider (well, the provider is listed but the channels don't match) and couldn't find any value in the application.

Sounded neat. Didn't work for me. Wish I could make it just go away at this point instead of taking up space on my home screen.

I love the idea of Nintendo TVii, but I could never get it to work.

Tried it after this update and it's still horrible. Accidentally backed out of the app three times because I thought it wasn't recognizing my inputs. Turns out it was just tons of lag. No good.

No one actually like, watches TV anymore do they? I mean. I just torrent Game of Thrones and watch that once a week. Why don't Nintendo put a bit torrent client on the WiiU?
