Start your summer off with some dodge ball of the Super variety!

So we took a week off from E3 to focus on that event, and now that we’re back you’d think that things would be a bit slow, right? Wrong! A large amount of games have been released across not only the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, but even the Nintendo DS! Nothing major, but seeing that all three systems are getting something this week, it’s pretty nice to know there’s still a lot of support for all of them. Let’s see what’s out this week!

Wii U Downloads

Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition - $7.99

I’ve heard about this game, but never have really seen it in action. Now that I have, I really enjoy how fluid the animation is. Reminds me a lot of Prince of Persia, the original one (not the gritty reboot).

Color Zen Kids - $3.99

Wasn’t I just talking about Color Zen recently? When did it have kids?! Oh, ok. It’s Color Zen for Kids. Just seemed too soon for it to start having kids, that’s all.

How to Survive - $14.99

I’ve always wanted to know how to survive. And by playing this game, now I can! I can live forever! Actually, by looking at how things in the world are going right now, maybe I don’t want to live forever. That reminds me of a Bon Jovi song. You know the one!

GEOM - $0.99

GEOM seems like your atypical puzzler. Always seems nice to see one of those! What’s not always nice is spending hours and hours playing one. But, hey, it’s only a dollar.

Pushmo World - $9.99

Pushmo is back and in full HD glory on the Wii U. The puzzler solver is a big hit here at NWR. We really liked it, as you can read our review right here!

Wii U Virtual Console

Super Dodge Ball - $4.99

I never really played Dodge Ball growing up. Crossfire was what it was all about back in the day. There was even a commercial with a cool song about Crossfire. Nobody really bought the board game, but it was still an awesome song.

Nintendo 3DS Downloads

2048 - $1.99

I wonder what I will be doing in the year 2048. Probably solving puzzles, like in this game. That wouldn’t be so bad way to kill time while waiting for Final Fantasy XV.

Color Zen Kids - $3.99

Now kids can take their own version of Color Zen on the go! There’s only so much you can say about Color Zen. I’m all Color Zen’d out to be honest.

European Conqueror 3D - $0.99

Why worry about all the turmoil going on this world. You can just play it on your 3DS! Actually, this has a World War 2 setting. So I guess if you want to kick Germany’s butt again, be my guest!

Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

Super Dodge Ball - $4.99

Not a ton of variety this week for virtual console games. Dodge Ball, though...it was great as a kid. Easy to get injured, though. Some schools have even banned it, I think. One broken arm and the game is ruined for everyone...

Nintendo DSiWare

ATV Fever - 500 Nintendo Points

I have a fever, and it’s ATV related. Who doesn’t want to enjoy an all terrian vehicle? You know what that means...you can go anywhere. Just make sure to wear a seatbelt. Saftey is important, you know?

ATV Quad Kings- 500 Nintendo Points

My ATV fever has evolved into an ATV obsession with all of these ATV games coming out! This is a really great week for those who just couldn't live without more ATV games.

Fashion Tycoon - 800 Nintendo Points

I’m sure there’s plenty of people out there who have always wanted to be fashion tycoons. Plenty, in fact. But me? Nah, I’ve always wanted to be a “wear what’s comfortable” tycoon. Maybe that’s why I’m not a millionaire.

My Aquarium: Seven Oceans - 500 Nintendo Points

I’ve always wanted an aquarium. Thanks to this title, I can now have one without having to worry about goldfish dying the day after bringing them home because I have no idea how to care for them.

Mysterious Stars: The Singer - 500 Nintendo points

Now that I have an aquarium and a fashion tycoon, I can become a famous singer too. Move over, um...who’s popular in 2014? Lady Gaga? Yeah, her. Move out of the way. I’m going to be a star thanks to this DSiWare game. She’s gonna be so sorry when my songs reach number one...whenever I start writing them that is. Which will be right after I beat this game.

Don't you mean pullblox and fallblox? :confused;

'Murica.

ANOTHER WORLD!!!

omgomgomg

I played the original (Known as Out of This World in 'Murica) on the PC as a kid with my Dad!

I'm actually tempted to buy it on BOTH Wii U and 3DS I'm so excited!

TurdFurgyJune 20, 2014

I just did a search for How to Survive to learn more(because the description given here is so informative) and discovered it is currently $3.74 on Steam right now. Makes it hard to support the Wii U's 3rd party indies in situations like this. I'll just pass for now.

geckog7June 20, 2014

Yeah Carmine, I'm excited about another world too! The first 2 minutes of playing brought back a flood of memories from when I was a little kid.

I have Out of This World on SNES, what is new about this version?
