Batman returns but not in a Tim Burton way.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is coming to the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Set right after the events of the previous game, LEGO Batman 3 sees the caped crusader heading into space with his fellow Justice League friends to defeat Brainiac and The Legion of Doom. This time around, along with the more traditional style gameplay comes space vehicle combat in the vein of Defender. Beyond Gotham will also feature "AR Missions" that include different activities like racing and platforming. This all comes along with a total of 150 playable characters to unlock.

TT Games LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is being released this fall for Nintendo systems along with a slew of many others and PC.

Well, at least Lego is still coming to Nintendo platforms.  I have a sneaking suspicion Lego and Sonic are a sort of Brutus and Cassius duo though, their knives aren't out. Yet.

God bless TT Games. I'll probably play more Lego games on Wii U than I've ever played before.

While I am a bit winded on LEGO games, I plan to still pick up a few for franchises I like. It is a cheap way to have some of these LEGOs digitally since I cannot afford to collect physical sets that will quickly become rare and costly to acquire. I'll just play them at a slower pace and pick up the games when the hit the common $20 threshold.
