Big news for those holding on to their Wii and DS product registration codes.

Club Nintendo North America has updated their rules for Wii and DS post-play surveys. Beginning April 7, 2014, newly registered Wii and DS games will no longer be eligible for 10-coin post-play surveys. Wii and DS games will, however, still be eligible for initial product registration surveys.

According to a Nintendo Customer Service Representative, Wii and DS game post-play surveys that expire after April 7 and are currently in a Club Nintendo member's To-Do list will not be deleted when the new rules go into effect.

Additionally, Nintendo has pointed out that starting on April 7, all newly earned post-play surveys for all games will have to be completed 30 days after they are issued.

Hm, I'll have to think about this one. I already reached platinum for this year, so do I register what I have and get the extra coins, or do I just save everything and make sure I can get future platinums? Hm...

Reminds me that I still need to register my Wii U on the Club.

Should get to it to make Platinum again this year. I'll probably do a clear out of all my old surveys too and buy whatever is cool and available at that time. I check it so infrequently that the new system is sure to cost me potential coins if I do not keep up.
