Better late than never. Even if it is two years late.

Weapon Shop de Omasse, the fourth and final title in the Guild01 series of Nintendo 3DS games produced by Level-5, will finally receive its Western localisation this year.

The localised version was outed by a ratings listing from the Australian Classifications Board. A wider release to North America and Europe is currently unconfirmed but likely.

The Guild01 series was initially released as a retail compilation in Japan before being sold separately via the eShop in 2012. Three of the games - Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter and Crimson Shroud - were released digitally in the West that year.

However, the fourth title, then known by its Japanese name of Rental Bukiya de Omasse, was not released, with a Level-5 representative citing the difficulty of translating the large amount of text as the reason for its absence at the time.

Weapon Shop de Omasse, which was written by Japanese comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai, takes place in a father-and-son blacksmith business, where the player must complete rhythmic gameplay to craft weaponry for adventurers. The better they play to the rhythm, the more successful the adventurer is on their quest, increasing the rewards.

Interesting sounding game. I hope they are smart and just start it at $5 this time, that's the price point I picked up Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud, which are both good games. None of the Guild 02 games sounded appealing though.
