Party over here.

Wii Party U has been delayed to the end of this year, and new details were announced during Nintendo Direct.

Wii Party U will feature two types of games: board games and party games. The title will offer unique controls utilizing the Wii U GamePad, and will also have GamePad-only games called Tabletop games.

In total, 80 new mini-games will be included. Wii Party U was originally announced for this summer.

Wii Party U delayed? What a tragedy. How will I go on without such a high-profile release?

If they announce online play, then I will be instantly sold. Otherwise, I have zero interest in this game despite the obvious quality being put into it. I am glad that they have relegated Mario Party to 3DS and WiiParty to be the console party game.

Online would make so many people instantly care about this game.

To be fair, Wii Party actually got some good reviews.
