Buy two Super Famicom Kirby games, get the third one for free!

Gamers in Japan who purchase two of the latest Kirby titles on the Wii U Virtual Console - Hoshi no Kirby 3 (Kirby’s Dream Land 3), Kirby Bowl (Kirby’s Dream Course) or Kirby Kirakira Kids (released only on Game Boy in the West as Kirby Star Stacker) - will receive the third game for free. This marks the continuation of last week’s Wii U Virtual Console "Start-Up Campaign" that began offering special deals to gamers in Japan. The campaign runs for roughly a week, starting today, May 8, and ends on May 15 9:59 a.m.

Each of these Super Famicom titles sell for 800 yen (about $8) each on the Wii U eShop, so for first time purchasers, they will be able to receive three games for 1,600 yen. This deal extends to gamers who owned the Wii Virtual Console version of one of these titles as well. For example, if you purchased one game at the full price of 800 yen and another at the discounted upgrade rate of 150 yen, you can get the third game for free spending a total of 950 yen.

Last week, the opening of the campaign gave gamers who purchased Kirby’s Adventure on the Wii U 20% off of their purchase of Kirby Super Star.
