The Director's Cut marks the series' debut on Nintendo platforms.

An Amazon listing reveals that Deus Ex: Human Revolution will come to the Wii U later this year in the form of a director's cut.

A profile for the game went live on Amazon earlier today, complete with Wii U-specific box art and a release date of May 7.

The enhanced port is said to feature a "multitude of improvements, features and additional content" over the 2011 original, including the use of the Wii U GamePad touch screen with a new augmentation called the "Neural Hub."

Last week, Square Enix teased an unnanounced Wii U project set to be revealed at PAX East. It's looking likely that this is indeed the mystery title.

I for one am happy these ports are starting to show up. I have yet to pick up this game, it is on my radar, and now it is coming to my platform of choice as an enhanced version. The last piece of the puzzle is price. Or, more specifically, value proposition. When price is announced, I will weigh the value of the enhancements, included DLC, etc. against what I could pay for a new version for PS3. If the equation suits my value proposition, I will certainly bite. I feel the same way about Need For Speed.
I hope it is downloadable through the e-Shop; then I will get more value per the Deluxe Digital Promotion.

I never asked for this.

Sorry I had to say it.  ;D

Still this is a bad decision by Square Enix. I love the game but $50 after being two years removed from the official release. When the official price for the game is $19.99 and is often on sale for less then that and has been for the past year. At the max this should be the same price as the others and whatever the DLC expansion costed added in. Hell less if the boss fights weren't fixed or better yet just removed. Then again I'm bias on the boss fights as my annoyance with them is what is stopping me from replaying the game or actually going past the first boss fight upon my replay. I don't include the tank like robots as those actually fit the game.

Wii U owners aren't animals publishers can toss a bone and hope Wii U owners get satisfied. This isn't about even testing the waters either because this will be sent to die when it finally does come out without any acknowledgement outside of a line in a press release.

The link is down at Amazon. Hopefully it comes back up with a saner price point.

Huh? The link's still working for me, Shaymin.

I understand what you're saying NeoStar9X, but personally, I'm excited for this game, and more like it to come out on the Wii U. When it comes to third parties on Nintendo systems, my immediate hope is simply for parity. Ports like this get us one step closer to that distant goal, even if we've still got a long way to go.
