Breathe easy, Animal Crossing fans. The 3DS game might actually hit North America by June.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is coming to North America in "early 2013" according to Nintendo's latest financial briefing. During the live results briefing, the title was also referred to as coming out "by mid-year."

Other titles were also mentioned, including Fire Emblem: Awakening, Brain Age: Concentration Training, and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. Those three titles all have release dates, with Fire Emblem and Brain Age hitting in the next two weeks, and LEGO City Undercover coming in April.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf debuted in Japan last November, and has been a smashing success, selling more than two million units.

I believe I heard it on Connectivity, I forget who exactly said it, but there was a prediction for Animal Crossing to be released in March. That might sound too early, but the sooner the better for me!

Well at least it hasn't been delayed again. The sooner it comes out, the better. I'm a huge Animal Crossing fan and I'll be buying a 3DS specifically for this game.

I hope it wasn't me, because I would slap me!

I think May/June is realistic. Looks like it'll be the last big 3DS game from Nintendo before E3 (or during E3).

My money's on May, along with Pikmin 3.
