Stephen Wilson, EB Games Managing Director had the following to say about the announcement. "We are incredibly excited to be able to showcase Nintendo's innovative new Wii U game consoles to Australian consumers at this year's EB Games Expo. EB Expo will be the first time gamers in Australia get hands on with Wii U. This has only been made possible due to the efforts of the world class team at Nintendo Australia".
Aside from the Wii U announcement, EB Games have also revealed that the voice behind Mario, Charles Martinet, will be attending giving consumers the chance to meet and play with him.
This years EB Expo has currently sold through over 22,000 tickets, there are currently less than 1000 tickets left for the Saturday and Sunday Daylight sessions. Debra McGrath, EB Games National Brand and Events Manager has advised consumers not to delay in pre-purchasing their tickets as a sell out is a real possibility, especially now with the Wii U announcement.
