The 3DS video service is set to hit the eShop in Japan this week.
Nintendo will kick off Nintendo Video in Japan on Wednesday, July 13 in Japan.
Nintendo will deliver content to Nintendo Video via the SpotPass feature, which is nearly identical to how gamers receive videos for the Itsu no Ma ni Terebi service in Japan. During each release period, Nintendo 3DS users will be able to choose from one to four videos in the Nintendo Video application. Upcoming footage for Nintendo Video in Japan include a walk through historical Kyoto in 3D, Tokyo Girls Fashion Spring and Summer 2011 Collection, and various comedy routines.
This news follows yesterday's announcement that Nintendo of Europe will release Nintendo Video in that region on July 13.
