Ubisoft's UK marketing director, Murray Pannell, said in a comment to the MCV that, "We're delighted with the sales success of Michael Jackson: The Experience..."
According to sales data by Gfk Chart-Track, over ten percent of those sales have come from the United Kingdom. In North America, the title debuted as the eight best selling title in NPD's best sellers list for January 2011. 90 percent of those sales are attributed to the Wii version of the title.
