The current sales and marketing exec is leaving in October.
Cammie Dunaway, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Nintendo of America, will be leaving the company for a new role on October 1. The new position will be outside of the games industry, but specific details were not given.
"We appreciate Cammie’s contributions to Nintendo and the role she played in bringing the Wii and Nintendo DS experiences to millions of people," said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America president and chief operating officer.
Dunaway joined Nintendo three years ago to replace Fils-Aime after he was promoted to his current role. She is known for her enthusiasm and sunny demeanor from her presentation of Nintendo's E3 press conferences.
