The Virtual Console makes a triumphant return to N64 classics, and there's a variety of WiiWare and DSiWare titles new for download this week.

Virtual Console's single title this week is Mario Tennis, as previously seen on Nintendo 64. It's back to the basics for tennis controls as the very first game in the series is available for 1,000 Wii points ($10).

Shin'en Multimedia's Jett Rocket is the first of three WiiWare releases this week, giving Jett Rocket the ability to use a Jett Boat, Jett Snowboard, and even a Jett Turbine in the quest to save the planet Yoroppa from the Power Plant Posse in this 3D action adventure, downloadable for 1,000 Wii points ($10).

Pong Toss Pro from JV Games Inc. adds a tournament mode and new controls to the game, for 600 Wii points ($6), while Robin Hood: The Return of Richard by Nordcurrent lets you shoot your way to victory for 500 Wii points ($5).

Six DSiWare titles are available for download this week, ranging from the rhythm game Maestro! Green Groove, dating adventure Date or Ditch, puzzler Animal Color Cross, real-time strategy Ancient Tribe, and another puzzle title, Brain Drain. Each of these costs 500 DSi points ($5).

The final DSiWare release this week is Battle of Giants™: Mutant Insects - Revenge from Ubisoft.  It features battling missions and a duel mode, and comes in at 800 DSi points ($8).
