The Media Create sales charts for May 3 through 9 (which covers Japan's Golden Week sales) have been updated, and Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 takes number 1 position. The title sold 253,000 copies this week for a total of 876,000 copies sold. Since its release, the DS spin-off title has shipped a million units.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii remains in the top ten, with 47,000 copies sold, placing it in the third spot in the charts. Nintendo's DS title, Friend Collection arrives at the fourth spot with 33,000 units sold. Mario Kart Wii rounds out the top five best sellers with 32,000 copies sold with Wii Fit Plus following it at number 6 with 23,000 copies sold. The eighth and ninth spot were dominated by Nintendo as well, with Pokemon Ranger Hikari no Kiseki for the DS selling 20,000 copies, and Wii Sports Resort concluding the chart with 16,000 copies.

Notably, Mario Kart DS and Super Smash Bros. Brawl return to the top thirty in the latest sales charts. Mario Kart DS reached the 21st place, while Brawl rose to the 29th spot.
