Act now and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story could be yours for the low, low price of zilch.

Today Nintendo announced that a white Nintendo DSi will soon be bundled with Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for no extra charge. The bundle will be available starting April 25 at select U.S. retailers for $169.99.

Supply of this new bundle is limited, and its price point – the same as a barebones DSi - means that the game is being included for free. Bowser's Inside Story launched to critical acclaim last September.

NINTENDO CELEBRATES SPRING WITH WHITE NINTENDO DSI BUNDLE

April 13, 2010

This season, Nintendo is set to offer consumers a fresh new way to experience the top-selling Nintendo DS™ family of hand-held game systems. Starting April 25, white versions of the Nintendo DSi™ system will be sold at select U.S. retailers, while supplies last. Each white system will be bundled with a copy of the wildly imaginative Mario & Luigi™: Bowser's Inside Story game.

The white Nintendo DSi packs the same remarkable features as its blue, black and pink counterparts, including dual screens, two built-in cameras, and fun photo- and sound-manipulation tools. Users with broadband Internet access can also browse the Web using the free Nintendo DSi Browser application and download new games on the go via the Nintendo DSi™ Shop.

The white Nintendo DSi comes bundled with Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, an outrageous adventure in which Mario™ and Luigi™ must solve puzzles and complete quirky challenges as they wiggle their way through Bowser’s body.

To help ensure that affordable fun is in full bloom this spring, the white Nintendo DSi bundle will be available at a suggested retail price of $169.99.

I've been planning to get a DSi (I want Pokémon SoulSilver), so this is a great bonus since it includes a game I also want. I had been thinking about getting a DSi XL as well, but I will just get the DSi. The April 25 date also gives me time to get enough money.

You're still going to get a DSi, even knowing that the 3DS is coming in 6 months to a year for probably not much more money?

TJ SpykeApril 13, 2010

Yeah, why not? I don't want to wait up to a year to be able to play DS games again (I haven't had a DS since July), and any games I get will be playable on the 3DS (and before you suggest a regular DS or DS Lite, I also want to play some DSiWare games).
