The Australian ratings board lets the cat out of the bag again.

The Australian ratings board, OFLC, has revealed yet another Q-Games project with Nintendo. Although details are slim, the title of the game is 3D Space Tank.

No platform is mentioned in the OFLC listing. However, Q-Games has developed several DSiWare games, including Art Style DigiDrive, Starship Patrol, and Trajectile. Q-Games is also widely known for their PixelJunk games on PlayStation 3.

3D Space Tank will be published by Nintendo. NWR will have more details on the game as they are available.

Generic Star Fox tank game? Please?

By name alone this game sounds INCREDIBLE.

Hope it's a DS game!

That name sounds so late 80s, early 90s...

If it was mid-to-late '90s, it could only be Space Tank 64.

Could this be a spiritual sequel to the Tanks game found in Wii Play?

Does anyone remember BattleTanx for the Nintendo 64? Sure it was pretty mindless, but it could still be enjoyable.

The 3D bit makes me question that. Wii Play Tanks was a lot about ricocheting bullets and that only really works in a top down view which doesn't really make it a 3D game.

I'm imagining something like battlezone.

But in space and more awesome.

Well, this is Q-Games, it'll probably be weirder (like piloting a flying tank in mid-space).
