Nintendo World Report wishes you a safe and happy 2010.
2009 was another busy year at Nintendo World Report. I took over as Director in January, and as a site we celebrated our tenth anniversary on the web. And of course, keeping up with all of the Nintendo news this year was a round-the-clock labor of love.
2010 is shaping up to be another exciting year, with the release of games like Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter Tri for Wii, as well as new details about the next Zelda at E3. We don't know that much about next year's lineup, but the DS will see Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver and the Wii will get sequels to Endless Ocean and Sin and Punishment early in the year. We'll certainly get more concrete release information about anticipated titles such as Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, and Golden Sun DS soon enough. It's going to be fun, that's for sure.
As the year winds down, I would like to thank the staff of Nintendo World Report for all of their hard work. As Director I get to see all of the time and tireless effort put into the site on a daily basis, and it makes me proud to be part of such a great team. The faces may change, but the hard work and dedication stays the same. We've been going strong for 10 years now (actually, 11 in March), and there's no stopping us now.
Finally, I would like to thank our readers and podcast listeners. Thank you for visiting the site and checking out our podcasts on a regular basis and giving us your feedback, positive and negative. I must also give a special shout-out to our forum community. You guys and gals have been the heart and soul of NWR for years, and the many friendships that have been forged out of a love for Nintendo and video gaming never ceases to amaze me.
As for what's on the NWR horizon, we have a few surprises up our sleeve that we'll be revealing soon. Rest assured that you'll like what we have cooking, and these changes will make the site better than ever.
And with that, I would like to wish the Nintendo World Report staff and community a happy and safe new year. See you in 2010!
