The Nintendo-published game will be hitting DSiWare today in Japan.

Brownie Brown has announced a new DSiWare game titled Kappa Michi (translation: Kappa Road), which hits the DSi store in Japan today.

The game involves kappas, Japanese mythological creatures. Using the stylus, the player draws roads for their big-headed kappa to travel to a goal, while avoiding dangerous traps and other obstacles. Along the way, baby kappas can be found that will need rescuing.

Brownie Brown, who previously developed Heroes of Mana and Magical Starsign for the Nintendo DS, has published media of Kappa Michi at the game's official website.

Kappa Michi is available for 500 Nintendo DSi Points in Japan today. No North American release has been announced.

Seriously, why do people think Kappas are chickens? They're green and got turtle shells, you'd think that would be more decisive than the bill.
