TNA iMPACT!: Cross The Line Headed to DS

Southpeak Interactive has announced TNA iMPACT!: Cross The Line for Nintendo DS, marking the first time the brand has been available on the platform.

The game, which features the superstars and branding of Total Nonstop Action professional wrestling, will feature wireless head-to-head play. Cross the Line is set to release this winter.

TNA iMPACT! is known for its six-sided ring, and features well-known wrestlers such as Olympic gold medal winner Kurt Angle, Sting, and Jeff Jarrett. TNA iMPACT! was also released for Wii in September 2008.

MIDLOTHIAN, Va., Nov 30, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SouthPeak Interactive Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SOPK) announced today it has pinned a new deal to the mat to publish games based on the popular professional wrestling brand Total Nonstop Action and its flagship weekly television program TNA iMPACT!. The new game, TNA iMPACT!: Cross the Line, will be available for PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) systems (including the PSP(R)go system) and Nintendo DS(TM) later this winter.

Through an agreement with TNA, SouthPeak now has the rights to publish the handheld titles that were in development by Midway Games. TNA iMPACT! Cross the Line features the organization's signature six-sided ring, wrestlers old and new for players to grapple with, action in and outside of the ring, wireless head to head play and much more. It is scheduled for release later this winter.
