All the best to our American readers, and everybody else too!

Nintendo World Report would like to wish a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all of our readers celebrating the holiday in the U.S., and all of our other readers around the world as well!

Enjoy your turkey, and if you aren't eating turkey, enjoy some quality Nintendo gaming in its place. Either way, celebrate with a bountiful feast of food or gaming.

What are you thankful for? Make sure you tell us in Talkback!

Hmm what am I thankful for?

I am thankful for this community.
I am thankful for spending time with family. I am thankful for each day in life.

I'm thankful for painkillers, cats, and twin stick space shooters.  Pumpkins are nice too.

no family here, and not in the U.S. so it's not even a holiday, but my DS was there for me!
my character got turned into a cat tho
hmm that's actually pretty cool

Thanksgiving was last month for us Canadians and right now I'm stuck at work so it's not a time I usually feel to grateful.  I'm usually more jealous that I don't also get a holiday.

I'm thankful for my family and friends.  I'm thankful that I'm in good health.  I'm thankful that I have secure employment so as to have the means to support myself and that I live in a country where I have the freedom to do so.

Aside from those, everything else is just icing on the cake.  I suppose I'm thankful for that "icing" but it's so minor in comparison that I rarely reflect on it.  The important stuff above is all I need to be happy. :)

I'm thankful for having a sister who is always there whether I need her or not.
And I'm thankful that I have yet to use my taser that I got for protection.

Some people do. Not you, Mac. You're too good to call me back when I call you at 3am just to talk about stuff and junk.

I am grateful for my NWR gig. I am also grateful for my friends, both online and in real life. I am also grateful for my family, even though they can be very dysfunctional at times (especially my older sister).

I'm thankful that Thanksgiving with the girlfriend's folks went really well and I may have a whole slew of converts to the Wii playing cause. ;D

Oh yes, I am grateful for the Wii and DS, especially New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which is great!

StratosNovember 27, 2009

The best part about playing games during the holiday family gatherings is hearing all the casuals saying things like "lets play The Wii Game first and then some of those other games you have" when I only brought a Wii.
