In celebration of its upcoming release, Sega has released final gameplay trailers for both versions of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will be released on October 13 on both the Wii and DS. To celebrate, Sega has released two new gameplay trailers.

The Wii trailer shows off gameplay footage of Festival Mode. The mode will have boss battles featuring King Boo, Dry Bowser, and more. You will battle them by competing against them at the olympic events:

The DS trailer features footage of Adventure Mode, exclusive to the DS version. As Mario and Sonic, players will take on missions and battle special bosses as they save the Olympic Winter Games from Bowser and Eggman's schemes:

This is one of those games that I wasn't expecting much from, but the trailers have consistently exceeded those expectations. It looks to be much more cohesive and well thought out than its predecessor, which makes me a lot more interested in buying it.

The game looks to be more polished and expansive than the first game, but it still doesn't have Toad and Birdo as playable characters. Oh well, it isn't something I should have bought anyway as I still have a lot to catch up on.
