Fireworks and flowers are combined in one family-friendly title.

Australian game developer Nocturnal Entertainment has announced the impending WiiWare release of their title Flowerworks. The game stars a confused alien named Follie, who crash lands on the planet Elilia while transporting a shipment of flowerworks (flowers that shoot fireworks) for her aunty.

Flowerworks promises to be a family-friendly title that both kids and adults will enjoy. The goal of the game is to recover the seeds and plant the flowerworks, using the Wii Remote to accomplish the task of planting seeds and firing fireworks. The single-player adventure will have 50 individual stages in a 15 to 25-hour quest. Players are able to score star ratings in each stage, and there will also be a quick-play arcade mode with three different difficulty levels.

A PC Flowerworks demo is also available on the game's official site.
