Nintendo revises the requirements for their education program.

Nintendo has recently modified the requirements for their Japanese DS classroom program.

The program, which was announced in June, allows teachers to interact with students via the DS. The program allows teachers to create lesson plans on a computer and send questions to each student's DSi. Nintendo teamed up with Sharp System Products to create the program.

All participants who want to take part in this will now require a customized DSi. Formerly the service was compatible with all variations of the DS. It originally made use of special DS cartridges, but now will use internal DSi software.

Nintendo claims that this has multiple advantages because of the DSi's exclusive features, such as the bigger screen and two cameras.
