The publishers of Oblivion and Fallout see the potential on Wii.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Bethesda is planning to bring more Mature-rated titles on Wii.

"We are going to make an announcement on a really big Wii game this year," said Bethesda's European managing director Sean Brenan. "We've got a couple of other things in the pipeline, and it's a format we're really looking at with the right approach."

Brenan makes note of other companies creating a specific Wii label.

"Looking at the opportunities in the Nintendo space is interesting for us because it's more driven by getting the right product for the demographic and also the right quality," he added. "We're not going to do a hamster simulator, it's not us. We're not going to produce games for girls or pet-sim products. There's nothing to distinguish them from one another."

ENOUGH WITH THE EMPTY PROMISES, 3RD EXCUSE MAKERS.  GOTTA DO MORE THAN TALK TO GET US INTERESTED.

Elder Scrolls: Rail Shooter confirmed.

Seriously though, I remember that there was going to be an Elder Scrolls PSP game at one point.  I wonder if that morphed into a Wii game.

Well gee whiz, I'm sure everybody feels better if that's what Buthusduh is planning.

Be like Capcom, take what's hot on PSP, move it to Wii, and open yourself up to praise after declaring the great support you now have for the system.

Hopefully that's not the case, but I wouldn't put it past them.

a ouple of years ago. nintemdo sent me a survey, this one was centered on wether or not a gamw that sounded like oblivion would be fun and why.  it was different from other surveys too.  it mentioned that i got to take it because i always answered all their surveys.  at first i thought it was a oblivion like gameplay and sandbox for the next zelda.  but after seeing this, maybe bethesda asked nin to survey for them?  or maybe it is about the next zelda whos knows>  what i do know is that i did get the survey.

Nintendo hardly sends me surveys.  I wish they did, then i'd have more opportunities to tear them apart.

I like Pro better when he's being sarcastic in his angst...

Sadly, nothing ever came of this.
