Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is now available for Wii and continues the ten-year anniversary celebration of the popular farm-simulation series.

Yesterday, Natsume announced that the first Wii iteration of their popular Harvest Moon series, subtitled Tree of Tranquility, is now available in stores. The game, celebrating the series' ten-year anniversary, takes off after the Mother Tree disappears and the main character's island town loses its touch with nature. It's up to our hero (or heroine) to save the day and return the island to its former glory.

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is rated E for Everyone and is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.

The island has lost its connection with nature and the inhabitants don't know what to do - it's up to the player to save the island! Players will help to rebuild the island by working the land, befriending and raising animals, nurturing friendships, and creating a family. When the Mother Tree is reborn, the Harvest Goddess will return and bring prosperity to the island once more.
