Haha! I TOTALLY remember this game from when I was a kid! I was too young to play it but I remember hours of happiness simply watching my uncle or older cousin play this thing. Man, this game is AWESOME, I can't wait to actually beat it now that I'm older.

I wonder if it is going to be a straight port or are they going to include some additions that Wildfire had. Wildfire's difficulty makes me throw chucks even though I like alot of the new fetures.

Oh geez. I'm older now than when the game first came out, but I ain't that much better. I hope not Oohhboy.

Actually, I didn't mind that wildfire was difficult. I was just that it was a wall. I wouldn't mind seeing masses of troops been sent against my mercs, it's just that they send them at you in like the second encounter not near end game. Your way under equipped. Half the men are using Pistols or SMGs. Nothing better than level II kevlar and a steel helmet. No scopes, lasers or pods. Maybe one actual rifle, usually the M14 (A fine weapon but still).

JA2 Vanilla is just right for most people, but the end game just doesn't come off as epic. The game also doesn't quite spend enough time with both sides using pistols. They get tossed all the too quickly.

If they do enhance this, I hope they effectively give us a 3D version, but maybe that is for the Wii?

As long as someone's interested in publishing classic PC games, I hope X-COM is in the cards.  That would be pretty awesome on the DS.

XCom on the DS (or heck, the Wii) would be so, so, awesome. That happens Deguello might have to ban my gibbering hysterical self from the forums.
