Data Design Interactive is hoping players are ready to make some crazy putts.

Data Design Interactive announced on Monday that they will be publishing and developing Kidz Sports: Crazy Mini Golf for Wii under their Popcorn Arcade label. There will be "74 Crazy holes set over 4 wacky courses" and various modes such as Single Hole, Championship Challenge, and the "Crazy Golf Tour". Data Design has also said that they will introduce the "NuYu" character editor.

There will be different control styles for the game. The first will be for beginners and will only involve simple swings and using simple presses of the A and B buttons. The second is dubbed the Sim version and allows the player to have more control over the strength of the swing.

Kidz Sports: Crazy Mini Golf is set for release some time in 2008.

Grab a putter and hit the greens!....the world of Crazy Mini Golf is here on the Nintendo Wii...

London, 16th June 2008, Stourbridge, England. Crazy Mini Golf; known the world over as the thing you do when you’re at the seaside, when the kids are bored or when adults have had far too many drinks and see themselves as the next Tiger Woods………

Now you can have this much crazy fun in your own home thanks to Data Design Interactive - a successful video games publisher and games developer, who today announced a new title to be added to their Nintendo Wii label, Popcorn Arcade, kidz Sports - Crazy Mini Golf.

DDI have incorporated two game styles; for first timers it’s a case of hitting the A bottom when you are lined up, then moving your arm up and down before hitting the B bottom - simple. If you fancy a real challenge, you could try the Sim version where the hitting of the ball and its strength is down to you - once mastered, you will feel like a putting green King…

There are 74 Crazy holes set over 4 wacky courses; you use the Wii Remote just like a real putter. There are various Game Modes including Single Hole, Championship Challenge, and the 'Crazy Golf Tour'.

DDI are also introducing the all new 'NuYu' character editor. Have fun and a lot of laughs creating Kidz Sports versions of you and your friends to play in game.

Take your putting to the next level with Kidz Sports: Crazy Golf.

Talkback

74 holes do not divide into 4 sets of 18 holes.
I am confused.

I have wanted a Miniature Golf game on the Wii since I first played the golf portion of Wii Sports. I fear that this particular game will be awfully bad however, especially since it is directed marketed at kids right in the title!

I think I may be turning into Kairon, because this game is appealing to me. I love mini golf but there are only so many courses in my area. I think I read, however, that the really good looking Tiger Woods 09 may have a mini-golf thing as part of it's "All Play" party modem and I've been looking for a regular golf game too. Also, you know, this is Data Design Interactive.
