A magazine advertisement reveals the official title for the game and announces that it will be playable at Jump Festa 2007.

While we have known that a Crystal Chronicles game for DS has existed for quite a while, there has been very limited information revealed about the title. That will all change next weekend at Jump Festa 2007 in Tokyo, December 16-17.

The Game|Life blog over at Wired has a scan of a magazine ad that displays the official title for the game, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, as well as announces that it will be playable at the event next weekend. To see the scan and read Game|Life's article, hit the source link above.

NWR will bring you more info when the event begins.

Is there any word as to whether this will be required/able to communicate with the coming Wii CC game?

DarkheartDecember 07, 2006

I would assume that they might release that info too but Im holding my breath for that sort of announcement when they release information about the Wii version.

decoymanDecember 07, 2006

I just want to know if it's online-enabled. Otherwise, it does me NO good. They've had plenty of time to implement this, so they better have it – no excuses if it's not online.

From what was said previously, the DS and Wii versions will have connectivity and also be online. So hopefully that remains true.

I didn't know if I remembered that from somewhere out of my imagination, or if it was actually announced. Regardless, that raises my hopes a bit, thanks BnM...

It has been so long since we had heard anything I had forgotten all about the DS version. I wonder when we are gonna see the Wii version.

Ditto. I completely forgot about the DS version. Can't wait to finally see more details about it!!
