Seven of them are listed with ratings on the ESRB site, so it seems likely.
The ESRB's website has been updated with ratings for a few Wii games, mostly from publishers like Ubisoft and Midway. Most interesting among the list was a group of seven games published by Sega that are (for the moment) Wii-exclusive titles.
The list of games might sound familiar. Ecco The Dolphin, Altered Beast, Toe Jam & Earl, Golden Axe, Columns, Sonic the Hedgehog and Ristar were all hits on the 16-bit Sega Genesis, and appear to be the first batch of classics bound for Nintendo's Virtual Console service on Wii. All seven games have been rated "E" for Everyone by the ratings board.
This list of Genesis titles is good news, but it could also be a sign that Virtual Console will be available to Wii owners at the system's launch: There would be little point in getting games rated this early if they wouldn't be available until next year.
We'll know for sure on Thursday, when Nintendo is expected to tell all about the Wii's launch details.
