Midway finally releases its classic racing game compilation to eager Nintendo fans.

Midway Arcade Treasures 3 for Nintendo GameCube™ Now on Store Shelves

Midway Arcade Treasures™ 3 for the Nintendo GameCube™, a compilation of eight classic Midway arcade racing games, has shipped to retailers nationwide today and will be available for $19.99 MSRP.

Midway Arcade Treasures 3 gives gamers a chance to challenge the streets where drivers race, stunt or battle in San Francisco Rush 2049™, or beat the clock while finishing in one piece with S.T.U.N. Runner™. If hitting the pavement isn’t their style, try exploring the wicked watercourses in Hydro Thunder® or Off Road Thunder: Mud, Sweat ‘N Gears™ both available for those who steer clear of a smooth ride. Midway Arcade Treasures 3 has upwards of 70 tracks that take drivers from coast to coast and even around the world. Gravity defying jumps, bonus track packs and one-on-one or split screen competitive modes are guaranteed to give "joyride" a whole new meaning.

Eight classic arcade racing games including:

  • Badlands™

  • Hydro Thunder®

  • Off Road Thunder: Mud, Sweat ‘N Gears™

  • Race Drivin'®

  • San Francisco Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition™

  • San Francisco Rush 2049™

  • S.T.U.N. Runner™

  • Super Off Road™ & Bonus Tracks Pack

The arcade classics keep on coming as Midway Games is slated to ship both Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition for the PC and Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play for the PSP portable system later this year.

That's for sure, it runs at about 10 FPS. ;_; Both Rush games are still as awesome as ever, though.

I'll be picking this up soon just for the Rush games... =D
