Adam caught his team before the second trial. Were they worthy?
Magnezone
I first met Magnezone in White 2, and he’s had a spot on my team ever since. With his wide variety of special moves and high special attack, Magnezone is ready for any battle. He leads my team and is the second Pokémon I’ve ever gotten to level 100 legitimately.
Snorlax
Make it rain! I’m not talking about Rain Dance, I’m talking about Happy Hour! I ended the game with over a million dollars. Hold Back was pretty nice, too. His fifteen-minute Z-move made me turn off the battle animations immediately after the credits.
Incineroar
Incineroar was a bit of a letdown. While his signature Z-move, Darkest (Dankest) Lariat, is neat, I taught him Acrobatics and used him as a flying-type. He’s a physical attacker who only learns a self-damaging physical-fire move. He sat out a lot of fights.
Shiinotic
This guy is ugly, but he made short work of the dragon trial. I’m still getting used to the Fairy type, and Shiinotic’s design isn’t doing the type any favors, but his powerful Giga Drain and devastating Moonblast kept his spot on my team.
Gengar
Gengar will eat your dreams and maybe even a part of your soul. Although he was a second-string team member, we shared some extremely satisfying wins. Almost nothing beats the feeling of pulling off a Hypnosis/Dream Eater combo.
Poliwrath
I had a Poliwrath on my team? Poliwrath is a physical attacker who doesn’t learn a physical water move until after the credits. His Z-powered Bubblebeam couldn’t even one-hit a Pokémon with a weakness to water. I would not run him again.
