Welcome to the 2004 Planet GameCube Louie Awards, where we, the PGC staff, recognize the best and worst of this past year. This is our fourth year handing out awards and we’d like to think that we’ve become pretty adept at picking those truly worthy of receiving recognition.

This year was one of the hardest, as there were so many games deserving of praise; so many exemplary titles that came down the pike. But after days and days of nominating, voting, and tallying, we narrowed each category down until there was only one clear winner. Of course, there were still situations where we had ties, in which had to employ Jonny’s wisdom to pick out the final choice and runner up, although not every category will contain a runner up.

So get comfy, call over some friends, and chug down a few Mountain Dews. It’s time for the 2004 Planet GameCube Louie Awards.
