Hey there, thanks for stopping by! The Famicrew did it LIVE, and now so can you! After a few corrections from the last show concerning Splatoon, and whether or not it has friend-matching (it does), the show moves onto the good times with new business.

Danny talks about his continued exploits in Xenoblade X. Amazingly he hasn't given up yet, and is the proud owner of a Doll, also known as a Skell (just so it doesn't get weird). Exactly what do you have to go through to obtain these giant robots? Danny tells all.

Ty talks his usual mix of crazy non-tendo games including; State of Decay, idarb, and Testicle Exploder 3. Killer Instinct is briefly mentioned of course.

JC finishes things up with some updated thoughts on New Super Mario Bros U, and how it may have broken him, and not in a good way. He's also got to the end of StreetPass Zombies, otherwise known as Battleground Z, and discusses whether the game could have legs even after the final zombie heads roll. Stretchmo is also briefly mentioned, but not really in a good way.

The main feature of the show then kicks off, something that hasn't been done on the Famicast for years - E3 predictions! The guys try to stick to all positive predictions this time, come and listen in so you can see how wrong they all are this coming June. You lovely listeners should tell us if you agree with us, and throw us your predictions too! It's all fun and games.

The last half of the show features another coin-flipping game of Fake or Real with your host, Ty Shughurt. Will Danny and James be able to beat a random number generator? The answer….will not shock you in the slightest.

We also finally get round to answering your letters that have been collecting cobwebs in our inbox. You see we didn't throw them away, we just neatly put them on a pile for reading another day. That day is today! Topics include the demise of Konami and Japanese elections - what fun!

So grab your wasabi Doritos and kick back and relax to the world's greatest* Japan-based English-language Nintendo podcast ever made!

It's actually funny that you guys are getting crap for your Splatoon segment on the last episode, because as far as Nintendo games are concerned, I thought Ty's take was downright glowing.

Nobody who actually saw Ty streaming Splatoon could say he was negative about the game:

And Splatoon DOES look like TF2. And it's a good thing. TF2, at least in it's original form, was a masterpiece of design. Not just in art, but more importantly -- in gameplay and balance.

Thanks for your comments guys! The whole Famicrew were taken aback by the negativity last time too! Turned out it was just a vocal minority though which is good!  :cool; :P:

For the record, I don't think Splatoon should be F2P. You gotta appreciate the art, character and level design that is in the game.
The low player count that is bound to plague the online modes later this year and going forward, should only be blamed on low WiiU sales and/or poor advertising! (of not only the game, but the WiiU itself)

Thanks all for your continued Please Understanding!

Fun fact: that punk dude with white teeth who directs Yakuza games... is in fact the producer of F Zero GX and the creator of Super Monkey Ball.

Oh by the way, this is my dream review feature that I mentioned on the show. Check it out for a fun, totally 100% never-gonna-happen look at what Star Fox on WiiU will be like!
