I wanna ride on the rickshaw...

TheFleeceJune 22, 2010

A few years ago I lived in Hell's Kitchen near Central Park and those pedicabs would be around the park to ride tourists around the park. At night though they would ride around Times Square or in my neighborhood and there would always be a scene of ambulances cops and those bikes torn in half by SUVs. Hotel Lindy looks like the spot hahaha!

They took you pretty far away from the convention center!  How'd you get back?

I walked there and back, it was like 10-15 minutes away if you took olympic to broadway.

And holy sh** the hotel Lindy?

Sure, sure, but during the middle of E3, that's a lot of extra walking.

It was for the EA press conference.

Who says "I would stay there every night"?

Someone who looks forward to the kind of company a "pay by the hour" hotel attracts on a nightly basis ;) :P:

p.s. They call him Jon "Tick Tock" Lindemann round them parts.... because numbers on the clock aren't the only thing he's counting. :cool;

Think of it this way, I walked all that way for the Ubisoft press conference. Essentially I walked all that way to be treated to a smelly sweat lodge filled with exercise games, a drugged out snowboarder, and laser tag.

Who's gonna make the thumbs up .gif from around 2:55?

I'm upset. During the ride I called Jon, who just seemed confused by what I was trying to convey was going on. I should have had the blackberry record the call.

Now that Eagles song is running through my head, except the words are 'Hotel Lindemann' instead of 'Hotel California'.

I charge hourly rates because that's the way the industry is going.  It's like Yoichi Wada said, it's a different way to monetize your hotel stay...by dividing it into chapters.

All I know is, when you stay at Hotel Lindy, be sure to bring your own sheets.
