I really liked these games when they released, but I got so spoiled with DS games and always having a map.
It looks so vibrant! I haven't played this one since 2001 but the improved contrast may be enough to send me back. Still, Aria of Sorrow is on the way later this month, and that is a far superior game.
I've been playing through the DS Castlevania games recently. I complete Dawn of Sorrow again a couple weeks ago, and now I'm trying to 100% Portrait of Ruin (all weapons, items, and every skill mastered). I've slowed down since Super Smash Bros. for 3DS came out.
I haven't played Circle of the Moon in about a decade. I first completed it in 2001 (really one of the best launch titles ever), then I replayed it a few years later. I have fond memories of it, but the game hasn't aged well from the looks of the video. Still, I'd like to go back and get those last two cards I never got before.
I'm playing this game for the first time in 12 years, but in my memory:
Aria > CotM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Harmony of Dissonance
It'll be interesting to see if those feelings change.
Argh, I just reconnected my Wii U in anticipation because I've been looking for a usable copy of CotM for years now (found one at GameStop but it had a broken save battery), turns out the game's not available in Europe yet.
