Die Hard: Vendetta has a lot of potential. The game isn't all that pretty, but it has the potential to be fun which is more important. In the first demo level you're in a subterranean subway system. Your first objective is to disguise yourself as a bum. Then you can proceed to sneak up on some soldiers. If you want, you can grab one of them from behind and use him as a hostage to get the other to drop their weapons. However, if you grab a grunt instead of the leader, the leader will simply shoot you both. After the weapons are dropped, it's a simple matter of pressing a button to snap the guard’s neck and start shooting his friends.

At the moment, the game's controls are in need of massive tweaking. The developers are admittedly aware of this though. The best news is that the game has an optional Goldeneye-style floating aimer. I'll be looking forward to playing the final version of this one.
