Action Party Game Brings Kung Fu Funky Fun to People across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand
CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – July 18, 2010 – Stickmen Studios, a growing studio focused on casual games for the leading consoles and PC, today announced that its original title, Kung Fu Funk™ for WiiWare™ is now available in the U.S. and Canada, with additional territories planned for the future. Kung Fu Funk takes players back to when martial arts had style, and colors were either vibrant or beige. Players enter the world of big hair and flared pants in this comedic Kung Fu movie styled game.
Kung Fu Funk™ is an off the wall 1970's Kung Fu movie themed party game. Players can challenge up to three friends to see who has what it takes to become the ultimate Kung Fu master. There are many trials to overcome in three zany game modes. True to any Kung Fu movie, players start with learning the Zen arts, a chilled out mode to get everyone familiar with the controls. Once skills are waxed the Kung Fu training movie montage begins, which consists of insane mini-games including the plate smash and chopstick fly catch. The ultimate test of skills occurs in the the disco dojo showdown when players enter the Kung Fu disco dojo as the instructor.
“Kung Fu Funk is the missing ingredient in any awesome funkified 70’s party,” said Wil McLellan, CEO of Stickmen Studios. “Whether you’re having a Bruce Lee movie marathon, checking out the Karate Kid series, or reliving The Last Dragon, Kung Fu Funk tops the night off right.”
Hidden behind the funky colors and fun game play of Kung Fu Funk, Stickmen incorporated movement science into the game, to allow for different ranges of movement so that it is fun to play for the whole family. Kung Fu Funk is an essential party game to add to your collection; no matter what you do you’ll finish with funky flying colors. Pricing for the game is 500 Wii Points™.
Kung Fu Funk features:
