All of the extras of the Mario Party 7 bundle, but with Pikachu and the gang instead of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness Nintendo GameCube Bundle Released

The latest Pokemon(R) game for the Nintendo GameCube(TM) is about to become part of a fantastic deal. Available now for the dedicated Pokemon fan will be a Limited Edition Bundle featuring a Nintendo GameCube system and controller, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and a Limited Edition Pokemon XD faceplate -- all this at an MSRP of only $99.99. Now players can face off against the Shadow Pokemon in style.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for Nintendo GameCube features visually stunning graphics, amazing battles and mind-blowing effects. A wonderful new storyline means players must thwart the evil plans of

Cipher, a ruthless organization bent on using Shadow Pokemon to take over the world. The fate of Pokemon lies in their ability to Snag and Purify them before it's too late, while a special new feature provides players the ability to import Pokemon from the Game Boy(R) Advance Pokemon games, and watch them battle in full 3-D.

Pokemon continues to dominate the video game market. The recent success of Pokemon Emerald sparked the sales of more than 1.29 million units, becoming the second best-selling video game so far this year for any system. Pokemon has generated more than $15 billion in worldwide retail sales since its introduction in North America in September 1998. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is Rated E for Everyone.

Errr... This isn't really the Mario Party 7 Bundle, is it?

Mario Party Bundle
GCN
Mario Party 7
Microphone
*Two* Controllers

XD Bundle
GCN
Pokémon XD
Custom Face Plate
*One* Controller

Now unless you want that custom face plate, I'd say go for the Mario Party bundle... it's like getting a second controller free!

However, if the XD bundle has the custom face plate, does that mean it's a DOL-001 GameCube in the bundle (i.e.: the GCN with a Component Output)?

Unless of course you want Pokemon XD but have no interest in Mario Party 7.
