Trine 2: Directors Cut shows up in spot number three.
A list of the 20 most popular Wii U eShop games to date has been released on the Wii U's eShop.
New Super Mario Bros. U came out on top, with ZombiU right behind. Two indie games, Trine 2 and Nano Assault Neo, came in at third and fourth place, respectively. Of the five indie titles released on launch day, Chasing Aurora was the only one that did not make the top 10. Check out the entire list below.

For a hedgehog so fast, his games come out so slow.
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed may have been delayed for the 3DS again.
According to both Amazon and GameStop, the Sega mascot racing title will arrive for the 3DS on February 12, 2013. Sega has not confirmed this delay, nor has any reason been given for it.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is available now for the Wii U via retail or on the eShop.

How do you lure a ninja out of hiding? Release it on the 3DS Virtual Console, I guess.
Ninja Gaiden for the 3DS Virtual Console will be available for purchase on December 6. The title, originally released for the NES in 1989, carries a price tag of $4.99. It was originally scheduled to arrive on the 3DS on November 8 according to an October press release.
Ninja Gaiden is known for its difficulty and early use of cinematics. Players control Ryu Hayabusa, and attempt to stop a madman's attempt to destroy the world.

In mid to late December, Trine 2: Director's Cut for the Wii U will receive an update that brings voice chat, support for the Wii U Pro Controller, new languages, "additional vividness to the graphics", and other minor fixes. The game's developer, Frozenbyte, aims to release a demo in December as well.

Yasumi Matsuno's latest work will make it to eShop before the year's end.
Crimson Shroud, the third game in Level-5's Black Box series on the 3DS eShop, will be available in North America and Europe on December 13, according to publisher Level-5 International America. The price has not been announced.

The bundle includes a blue/black 3DS XL, and Mario Kart 7 pre-installed on the handheld's 4GB SD card.

The next 3DS-to-Wii U eShop port is coming early next year and might use Miiverse.
Mutant Mudds Deluxe will release on the Wii U eShop in the first quarter of 2013, according to Renegade Kid Co-Founder Jools Watsham.
In addition, the Wii U version of the game will feature "even more" content exclusive to the platform. Recently, the 3DS version of the game was updated with new levels that were developed for the PC version of the game. Those levels should also be included with the Wii U version.

Nintendo says it will be back after the New Year.
The Club Nintendo Gold Wii Nunchuk reward has sold out for the second time, however Nintendo has revealed via Twitter that it will return after the New Year.
The Gold Wii Nunchuk accessory was first released as a North American Club Nintendo reward last August, but quickly sold out. It was recently added for a second time just yesterday and once again it sold out.

The Wii Mini will be exclusive to Canadians this holiday season, and will retail for $99.99.
The redesign, which we rumoured originally, will arrive on store shelves December 7. The system itself is matte black with a red border. and ships with a red Wii Remote Plus, and red Nunchuk.
The Wii Mini will not have any online functionality, and like current model regular Wii hardware, does not support GameCube backwards compatibility.

The rumours were true, a mini Wii is on its way!
A new revision of the Wii called the Wii Mini is coming to store shelves next month. An image of the console is now live on Best Buy's Canadian website.
The newly redesigned mini Wii looks vastly different to the original Wii design. It features a black surface with a stylish red border around the edges of the console, and it looks more square-shaped than the original.

You don't have to travel through space to download ThruSpace.
ThruSpace is now available for 150 coins on Club Nintendo.
From now until December 9, this WiiWare game can be downloaded for free on the Wii Shop Channel. Originally released in 2010, ThruSpace is a 3D Puzzle game which served as the inspiration for 3DS eShop title Ketzal's Corridors.
ThruSpace replaced the Virtual Console game Super Punch Out!! ThruSpace can be downloaded along with Touch Solitaire for 100 points until December 2.

Reggie says Wii U launch numbers are hindered only by supply.
In its launch week the Wii U sold over 400,000 units, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told CNET.
Fils-Aime went on to say that Wii U deliveries sell out as soon as the systems hit the shelves, with supply the only limit on how well the console is performing.

Cloudberry Kingdom, the upcoming Nintendo eShop title for Wii U, is not coming this month its developer, Pwnee Studios, confirmed.
In a response to our question of whether the game would launch this month as expected, we received the following response: ''Unfortunately it is not. Looks like we're going to delay for a bit and go for a simultaneous launch across multiple platforms.''

Nintendo may be taking a loss on the hardware, but it doesn't take much to recoup.
In a recent interview Nintendo of America's President Reggie Fils-Aime, has elaborated on how the Wii U hardware is currently being sold at a small loss, the first time in Nintendo history for a console.
Reggie stated that as soon as a customer buys just one piece of software, then that entire transaction becomes profitable.
