Our resident Managing Editor and PR Guy Jonny Metts is celebrating a birthday today. How old is he?

Happy Frickin' Birthday, Jonny. I have to admit, I was a little stunned when Billy not only reminded me that today was your birthday, but that you were turning just 21 today. How does TEH SEXIES MAN stay so young? Must be all that clean living and late night debates.

Billy would have posted this himself, but he was on his way out for another busy day in Vegas. He'll stop by later to add his birthday wishes too, I'm sure.

Animals Not Crossing to Europe GC

And it doesn't look like they'll make it to Australia either.

Things are looking worse for a local release of Animal Crossing with Nintendo commenting today that it will never make it to Europe. This is bad news for Australia too, as we rely on Europe for their PAL games.

In retaliation for Nintendo announcing a front-lit GBA, the pioneers cut the price on the AfterBurner ...

Triton Labs has posted a message on their website, in addition to e-mailing customers, informing them of a $10 price drop on the AfterBurner. Below are the relevant points.

Sega Confirms Two for GameCube

Previously announced Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest are due out in 2003, says the company's Japanese website.

Though both were initially announced quite a while back, Sega's Japanese website now offers the first new information on Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest. GC Pokemon This Summer

Reports say the Japanese will get a GameCube Pokemon game this summer...

According to Nikkei Keizai Shimbun, Nintendo will release a Pokemon game for GameCube by the end of summer. The GC version of Pokemon will require a GBA and a copy of Pokemon Sapphire or Ruby.

The price of the game is expected to be cheaper than Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby (around $40 US in Japan).

some movies for you.  We've skipped the intro and have ripped direct feed

of a couple tracks and their replay counterparts.
