JALECO ENTERTAINMENT INTRODUCES RACING, TRADING FOR GBA

Buffalo, New York - November 13, 2002 -Jaleco Entertainment™ announces two new titles for the Game Boy® Advance - Karnaaj Rally™ and Sea Trader: Rise of Taipan™ - both due out by the end of the year.

According to Japanese retail shop Seagull Club, Nintendo has its own 16-bit game collection to go on sale for Gamecube soon.

Tentatively known as 'Masterpiece Puzzle Collection', the title will contain Doctor Mario, Panel de Pon, and Yoshi's Cookie.

It is unknown if these titles will be merely ports or will be enhanced somehow.

The price and release date are unknown as well.

"Panel de Pon" is better known to folks in the United States as Tetris Attack.

According to Gaming-Age, the newest Nintendo retailer catalogue mentions an upcoming set of Mario Party cards for the e-Reader. It seems these cards will contain multiplayer mini-games. Presumably the games are small enough to be sent from one GBA/e-Reader combo to other GBAs, just like a "single-cart" multiplayer GBA game.

Ask and ye shall recieve, sort of.

Nintendo announced new controller colors for the Japanese market today. In addition to the Platinum GameCube releasing on December 1st, there is more to come.

December 5th marks the overseas release of the Platinum WAVE BIRD, as well as new Emerald and Platinum colors for the standard GameCube controller.

Rare's official website has updated with its first "Scribes" letters page since the famous developer was released by Nintendo and subsequently purchased by Microsoft. Despite maintaining North American operations for years, Japan-based Kemco has never had a functional website for its English-speaking fans. The company has used http://www.top-gear.com as its official site, but that address never pointed to anything more than an "Under Construction" notice. Now Kemco's American branch finally has its own real website. Check out the press release below:
