Gamecube Masterpiece Puzzle Collection revealed GC

According to Japanese retail shop Seagull Club, Nintendo has its own 16-bit game collection to go on sale for Gamecube soon.

Tentatively known as 'Masterpiece Puzzle Collection', the title will contain Doctor Mario, Panel de Pon, and Yoshi's Cookie.

It is unknown if these titles will be merely ports or will be enhanced somehow.

The price and release date are unknown as well.

"Panel de Pon" is better known to folks in the United States as Tetris Attack.

According to Gaming-Age, the newest Nintendo retailer catalogue mentions an upcoming set of Mario Party cards for the e-Reader. It seems these cards will contain multiplayer mini-games. Presumably the games are small enough to be sent from one GBA/e-Reader combo to other GBAs, just like a "single-cart" multiplayer GBA game.

Nintendo announced new controller colors for the Japanese market today. In addition to the Platinum GameCube releasing on December 1st, there is more to come.

December 5th marks the overseas release of the Platinum WAVE BIRD, as well as new Emerald and Platinum colors for the standard GameCube controller.

IBM are running a series of advertisements promoting their business partners, including Nintendo. These pictures were taken at two London Underground stations.

IBM were the developers of GameCube's "Gekko" processor, based on the PowerPC architecture and recently announced the shipment of the 10 millionth chip.
