Namco is shelving the project before ever revealing it to the public.
Recent online reports have indicated that Namco is in development with a new Pac-Man themed pinball game for the Nintendo DS. Today, a Namco rep confirmed to PGC that the game was in development, but that is no longer the case. The title has been canceled, apparently early in its development cycle, since no screenshots have yet been shown to the public.

The memory provider for both GameCube and Revolution has predicted a launch window for the next system. Also, first details on the Revolution's enhanced RAM technology.
In a conference call about the company's financial status, Monolithic System Technologies (MoSys) has revealed that their 1T-SRAM memory technology has been licensed to NEC for use in Nintendo's Revolution game console. NEC's 90nm chip technology will be used to enhance the 1T-SRAM design over the version currently used in the GameCube.

Nintendo DS may be selling strong, but Nintendo is still looking for ways to increase public awareness in Japan.
Yesterday Nintendo announced it has passed the 5-million mark for worldwide DS shipments after overwhelming acceptance in PAL regions. Today GameSpot reports that the company will be selling the DS in less traditional Japanese stores.
In an interview with Zaikai Magazine, Satoru Iwata revealed that Nintendo will be selling Nintendo DS products in retail stores that currently do not carry video games.
