Violent Femmes Make Their Rock Band Debut Wii

Next week's DLC features a song from the Violent Femmes, Supergrass, and Siouxsie & the Banshees, as well as a three pack from Coheed and Cambria.

Next week's Rock Band downloadable content, due out for Wii on April 20 for 200 Wii Points a track, features Coheed and Cambria, the Violent Femmes, Supergrass, and Siouxsie & the Banshees.

The Coheed and Cambria three pack is made up of three songs from their recently released album, Year of the Black Rainbow. The songs include the first song released from the album, "The Broken," and the lead single, "Here We Are Juggernaut."

Gormiti : The Lords of Nature Coming to Wii and DS DS

The toy and TV franchise will be released by Konami on Nintendo consoles this year.

Konami announced a new action-puzzle game for Wii and DS that based on the Gormiti TV show on Cartoon Network.

Gormiti : The Lords of Nature includes characters and locations from the television series, following the story of Razzle and the Lords of Nature as they work to save Earth from the evil Magmion.

THQ Releases Free Facebook App for Beat City DS

The Rhythm Heaven-esque game shows off its gameplay on Facebook and offers up prizes as well.

THQ revealed yesterday that Beat City, a rhythm-based mini-game collection, is getting its own Facebook application.

Free of charge, it allows players to try out three of the game's mini-games, and compete for prizes.

Once a week for four weeks, THQ will be offering a DSiXL in a random drawing. To enter, all you have to do is suggest the Beat City application to a friend, and then get them to accept.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii Tops Japanese Sales Charts Once More Wii

After an eleven week break, the multiplayer Mario title returns to the top of the charts in Japan.

Interactive Fitness Company Sues Nintendo Over Patent Infringement

The technology behind Wii Fit is the subject of this latest lawsuit.

Maryland based company IA Labs, also known as Powergrid Fitness, has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo, claiming that they have infringed two of IA Labs' patents when creating Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus and several other peripherals. The company claims to have been "irreparably harmed" by the release of the titles.

Green Day: Rock Band Track List Revealed Wii

On June 8, prepare for an entire game disc worth of Green Day tracks.

Green Day, Harmonix, MTV Games and Reprise/Warner Bros. are bringing Green Day: Rock Band to Wii. The game is a standalone disc for the Rock Band series, and will feature specialized videos for each song. The track list includes the albums Dookie and American Idiot, and by combining the disc with already available DLC, a third complete album, 21st Century Breakdown can be played in its entirety.

Level 5 Hints at Time Traveling Game

In a fan Q&A session hosted by Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts producer and creator Tetsuya Nomura answers questions regarding the DS Kingdom Hearts spin-off, 358/2 Days. Today Nintendo announced that a white Nintendo DSi will soon be bundled with Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for no extra charge. The bundle will be available starting April 25 at select U.S. retailers for $169.99.

Supply of this new bundle is limited, and its price point – the same as a barebones DSi - means that the game is being included for free. Bowser's Inside Story launched to critical acclaim last September.

Hudson Readies Deca Sports 3 For Fall Wii

The next iteration of the series will use Wii MotionPlus and include sports such as air racing and lacrosse.

Hudson is bringing Deca Sports 3 to Wii this fall with Wii MotionPlus support.

The fourth entry in the series (including last month's DS entry) will bring 10 new sporting events to the series and have an online multiplayer mode and a team editor.

Also, it will support Wii MotionPlus, a series first. Each event will feature two different control schemes – one that supports MotionPlus, and one that doesn't.
