Outkast isn't Def Jam... nice job EA, sullying OutKast's name with Def Jam's mediocre label. C-N-N is Capone-N-Noreaga and they never will be gifted.

You must have never heard "The War Report".

I certainly don't care that OutKast is on it. Nevermind the fact that they're GOOD, EA from the beginning had no intention of sticking with a pure Def Jam roster this game given the list of rappers and celebrities in FFNY. While they certainly have not used all of the talent on Def Jam in the games (no Jay-Z or Ja Rule), I'm guessing the higher profile ones either declined to participate or are out of their price range. In the future it would be pretty cool if they could get all the stars and their labelmates to have some stables face off, like Aftermath, Roc-A-Fella, The Inc., etc., but they'll have to work their way up to getting all those names in there.

As for the song list, at a glance it doesn't look as strong as lthe previous game's soundtrack (no DMX? Booo), but there's a nice mix of old and recent and brand new to be had. Hopefully EA Big can get it more interactive with the gameplay like SSX3 was.

How are you gonna have a Def Jam game without LL Cool J anyhoo? He practically BUILT Def Jam....plus, they wouldn't need to exaggerate his build because he is already diesel.

LL left Def Jam on bad terms. Lucky to even get his song in the game I guess. face-icon-small-smile.gif

He is actually still with Def Jam, which makes his omission even wierder, considering the media machine he has turned himself into. I understand his new contract something to smile about. face-icon-small-smile.gif
