Nintendo's website shows an extra word tacked onto this GBA title's name.

According to Nintendo's official website, Mario Pinball for Game Boy Advance has been renamed. The game is now known as Mario Pinball Land, which fits with the game's focus on moving among dozens of themed pinball boards. A single ball will often move back and forth through numerous boards, giving the game a sense of exploration that hasn't been seen since Pinball Quest on NES.

Mario Pinball (Land) was a runner-up for Best GBA Graphics in our E3 2004 Awards, thanks to its smoothly animating, colorful pre-rendered characters and boards. Look for it in North America this October.

Does anyone else think that Mario Pinball Land sounds awkward? Like Kirby Air Ride it just begs to have a "'s" added to it. Otherwise it's practically Engrish. That fact that Kirby's Pinball Land has such a similar name doesn't help.

The game does look like it's pretty cool though.

Oh well...It's just a name...

I agree with Bill on this one however there could be a compromise with "Super Mario Pinball Land"...

or maybe not.

I think "land" is the suffix for Mario games on the Gameboy, after all, there was Super Mario Land...

I bet that even if they made a mario game where it was at sea it would stil be called '..........land'.
