So here is my question. I realize this will take a bit of speculating but thats what friends are for. Let's say I import the Platinum player (as thats the only way im going to get one that matches my Cube), would the US disc, assuming it ships with a disc, work with the Japanese player? I mean, the only thing on the disc is an emulator, please give me guidance.

Are these movies working for eveyrone else? When I try and play em, it opens up fine, starts playing the sound fine, but the picture doesn't show. It will show a frame and then jump to another frame about 10 seconds ahead. I can play pretty much all other files fine, just the gameboy player movies and I think 1 other movie from PGC. Anybody else having these problems?

That's a great question. I would assume it would work. What I'd also hope to assume is that Nintendo will be selling replacement discs sometime in the future on the US website. But that's all speculation. There's also a rumor going around that the US version won't have a boot disc. But that's mere speculation as well.

yeah im having the same problem GokuSSJ2. Mabey its cause im useing wmp 7.01...i duno, but i cant get them to work

yeah, it's time to upgrade to the latest Windows Media Player.

Non-SE Windows 98 users can't view WMV9 videos because the codec and player REQUIRE Win98SE!!!! So I recommend DivX-ing the vids, or drop down to a previous WMV codec everyone can use.

And as for getting the color you want.... How about buying the the Jap one now and just switching the casing with the US version later and do...whatever (you think of your own scams)...with the recolored Jap extra.

I'd like to know what the resolution is like for this thing. Gameboy games are designed to be on this little small screen, so what's it like up on a big tv?

I've already imported my platinum GBP and Freeloader a little while ago, but the one thing that still concerns me is whether or not it requires a memory card save file... Well, does it? If so, I'll just go and buy and 59 and use that as my import save card.

Hey billy how about some footage of the GBP playing come GB color games or some original GB games

I'd kinda like ot see what they look like on the big screen (Seeing my Super Game Boy Bit the dust a few years ago and GBC games won't work on it)

They look just as you would expect on the Super Game Boy. Unfortunately though, there doesn't seem to be customizable pallets for old GB games.
