Namco has just officially unveiled the console versions of the hit arcade fighter Soul Calibur 2, and it includes one very famous Nintendo mascot: Link. Thanks to collaboration with the software giant, the famous green-tunic hero will be fighting in the excellent 3D fighter. Along with Link, is a new character by the name of Necrid.

The PS2 and Xbox incarnations aren’t without their own secret exclusive characters. The Sony version of the game will include none other than Heihachi, of Tekken fame. On the Xbox side the additional character is Spawn, the comic book hero.

Necrid will be in all three console versions.
