Reuters is reporting this morning that Nintendo is holding an announcement tomorrow in Japan regarding "peripherals for its GameCube home videogame console".

While we don't know what the announcement is set to encompass yet, we do know that Nintendo is dealing with falling profits due to various economic concerns. It's expected that this announcement will help spur sales of its flagship game console. Nintendo has already announced the new Platinum colored GameCube and WaveBird wireless controller for the Japan market, in addition to an Emerald colored standard controller.
